Detoxing Skin Care

Personal care items that we use everyday such as shampoos, lotions, conditioners, shower gels, and soaps can contain chemicals like phthalates, parabens, sulfates and even formaldehyde. These toxic chemicals can be absorbed through the skin and stored in our tissues, which can have an adverse impact on health. Studies show that breast cancer patients have increased number of phthalates in the urine. Your skin is the largest organ your body has so watching the topicals, shampoos, and other products you use can help prevent adverse health. Eliminating these sources of chemicals and replacing them with everyday ingredients can keep your skin and body in better health.
